FROM DAVID REES PART 2

BEGIN QUOTED TEXT FROM DAVID REES

We held Hillary to a measly five-point victory in Dutchess county, one of
the slimmest margins in the state.

Obama won in Beacon [NY]

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF MY ENORMOUS YARD SIGNS.

Here's an interesting article, positing that Obama's campaign itself speaks
to his strategic and executive abilities.

To which I can only add: Any candidate that can convince an agoraphobic,
depressive internet addict like myself to stand on a highway overpass waving
a sign and talking to strangers is a GODDAMN STRATEGIC MASTERMIND.

END QUOTED TEXT

That is all.

further proof he is a "STRATEGIC MASTERMIND", he got me out to participate in my least favorite election process, the Minneasota caucus.

Further proof? I'm an introvert who talks to a total of three people on the phone, ever. I made phone banking calls to over 600 people.

I'm someone who tends to not get involved in anything and was picked as a delegate to go to my general assembly. I'll also be volunteering during the National Convention here in Denver.

I only voted for Obama because Edwards dropped out.

(Just thought it was time someone injected some minor dissent into things around here.)

i answered phone calls at the hq today. talked to a woman who was very relieved when i could assure her that the senator is ANTI child molester. because, she says, she wouldn't vote for him otherwise. it was hard not so say something like "wait, incest doesn't count, right?" BUT I DIDNT BECAUSE I CARE.

You were in Beacon? I have been stuck in Dutchess county for the past four years (although soon back to NYC with me, thank God). I wish I had known!

I'm a total agoraphobic misanthrope myself, and I've been out knocking on doors in South Carolina and at home in Chicago, with an abandon I never thought possible. I plan to go to Ohio and probably Pennsylvania... if only I had the brains to go somewhere WARM to do canvassing, like Louisiana.

...If anyone is afraid of volunteering, let it be known that it's easy as hell to make calls (you can DO IT FROM HOME!) and pretty darn easy to knock on the doors of likely supporters... and it's incredibly gratifying, when you get to tell a would-be Obama voter that no, they don't need their voter registration card to vote, and yes, the election really is right around the corner. They're often incredibly grateful for the information, and except for the occasional angry Hillary supporter with their knickers in a twist about Obama, they are almost always incredibly polite and nice.

Anyway you guys delivered 93 delegates to Obama in NY! That's our current margin for victory! THANK YOU!
