YOU MAY NOTICE I RARELY POST ABOUT MY FILM AND TELEVISION ADVENTURES
THAT IS BECAUSE I usually do not believe they actually happened.
BUT THIS IS SOMETHING I am extremely proud to be associated with:
VERY WISELY, they did not end up using my own singing. That's JOHN LINNELL, who wrote the song.
(REALLY? I got to at least pretend to sing a TMBG song? In a Neil Gaiman/Henry Selick movie? Did that really happen?)
(I DIDN'T THINK SO)
That is all.

Wow! So exciting. I love that book and it looks like the movie will be something I might like to see!
Wow! I want to see that.
You seem to imply that they might have used your own singing--or that's the rumor I'm starting--and there may be evidence of it as in this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAUpxUOtGyU
(But it is you singing Country/Western in that Apple commercial, right?)
The movie looks great, and the casting was spot on. I hope it's a smash hit. I know that my family and I (big fans of Gaiman and Selick) are really looking forward to it. Cheers for the clip!

I did not know of your involvement in this movie until I saw this feature on IGN. I had, however, known about TMBG creating the music for it and that was enough to win over my 10 dollars for a movie ticket.
Now, though, with this new knowledge I am prepared to see this twice.
OMG!!! I can't wait to see this film come out. I love animation and I think the charater you voice looks great!
I am afraid to say that the animated character looks more like Linnell than Hodgman.
Is it more of an honor that Linnell gets to pretend to be YOU?
Dude. Wow. That rules.
Well my my, who knew senor Hodgman could sing??? and sing well I might add!
The film looks great. Looking forward to it.
What a perfect marriage of culture essentials.
Cool; reminds me of Cheburashka, in a good way.
You are married to Teri Hatcher.
You have arrived.
Please don't get all Hollyweird on us.

The movie was already a must-see, now even more so.
A combination of two of my favourite people (pronounce the "u", don't forget), Gaiman and Hodgman.
I predict box office splendour ("u", again).
You're psyched. I'm psyched. We're all very psyched. I thought your connection with TMBG began and ended with this.
I guess everyone is luckier than previously thought.
