They have the nerve to play up the "green" angle of their homes, when in fact, everyone knows that a freestanding frame house is a heat and wind sieve compared to the energy efficiency of a home beneath the earth.
It makes you wonder why we went to all the trouble to destroy the damn ring in the first place.

Just wait, houses above ground are easy prey for the Nazgul. Unlike the pretty homes of the Hobbits which are underground.
I would have to agree with Annje, although in the year 3018 of the third age, the Nazgûl perished when The Ring was destroyed in the fires of Mount Doom. Despite this, there have been reports of Dementors (from the prison of Azkaban) and Garo's (From the kingdom of Hyrule) imitating the Ringwraths. These creatures are far less deadly although may still pose a threat to the un-informed house builder.

They do have cute little "hobbit holes" to hide the service entrances. Although, that conjures up a wierd image of Frodo as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.....

I guess if you are aesthetically handicapped enough to buy one of his paintings, those houses look just pwecious.
I would happily live in Mordorville, though, if it was in a good school district.
