HEY, PHIL!

FROM THE COMMENTS, Adam asks...

"Is that actor Ryan Stiles as the security guard in the advert Security?" (sic)

BY "SECURITY," Adam refers to the very latest in television advertising of computers.

BY "ADVERT," Adam means "I am secretly British."

BUT THE WORRISOMELY TALL person in those ads is not Ryan Stiles, but the great, different person named SETH MORRIS, known for his directorship of the UCB Theater WEST.

IF YOU WISH MORE INFORMATION, PHIL CAN PROVIDE IT.

THE REST, as always, is a mystery to me.

That is all.

That was pretty kick-ass to see Seth in there. People should go see his show "Broin' Out" (either the LA or NY version)

I see these adverts on my telly. My mum says to turn them off, but I tell her to bugger off.

...and SCENE!

Heck, most people actually alert me when those ads are on. You should see how fast I turn my head!

I love Ryan Stiles, but Seth is quite a bit better looking than he is.

Well, that's disappointing that it's not Ryan Stiles. It's not disappointing for Seth, and perhaps not disappointing for Ryan Stiles (although perhaps it is. Perhaps Ryan is disappointed about ALL of the roles that he is not playing) It is disappointing for me, who has lost an insanely large wager on the outcome. I was apparently fooled by his sideburns, large stature, and manner of speaking, which sounded to my apparently faulty ears as being Mr. Stiles.

NO offense to Seth, but I would have fancied it better had Mr. Stiles played the role. And cleaned up with my well-placed bet.

Alas. Alack. I am undone.

And I regret to inform that I am not secretly British, though I wish I secretly was. I prefer advert to ad because I like vernacular that is the cat's pajamas. I'm a big fan of the lingo, the slang, the honey that I'm laying on your cake. I guess that's just the way I roll. Dogg.

Adam, I'm guilty of it too. But then again it flies in Canada.

though I wish I secretly were.

I *did* wish more information, and thus directed my inquiry towards Phil. Sadly, he was hunched over in the corner, sobbing uncontrolably over his apparent lack of world knowledge on the subjects of "Ryan Stiles" and "Also tall, but not quite Ryan Stiles."

I'm overcome with curiosity. Who is this Phil guy you talk about?
