APELAD, one of our most prolific boxcar children, produces this.
BUT I AM CONFUSED--what is that gray box under the title.
IS APELAD CONCEALING SOME SORT OF LOGO OR OTHER INFORMATION?
That is all.

Likely the name of the library where this delightful treasure resides.
The library info has indeed been obscured. I wouldn't want them to track me down via their secret string of numbers — especially since the marker I used is more permanent than I had hoped.
Oh, I loved those books so much as a kidlet.
He's actually blocked the word "ARISE!!" so as not to prematurely let loose the youth upon the unsuspecting public.
Oh, you precious Boxcar Children... you made living with junk recovered from a garbage heap seem so fun... and you still managed to dress so well, under the circumstances!
Hi, this is off topic
but I wanted to beat VH1 to the punch, and I thought it sorta had to be done. so I am attempting to compile a list of the 100 most influential lists of all time. I humbly request anyone to submit 5 lists that they think might be on the list (and if yours has already been suggested, it will count as like a vote to that thing being made to be more influential
also, I know it says boxcar. but I love and still read and have read many times, The Pushcart War by Jean Merril
http://www.amazon.com/Pushcart-War-Jean-Merrill/dp/0440471478/ref=pd_bbs_2/103-5741680-2843027?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1176011276&sr=8-2
and that is a good price for it and it is just as true today as it was then and it is still just as wonderful to me.
The gray thingy is the security chip; sheesh, ya'll.
I could never relate with those semi-perfect orphans in that train trailer. Neither could my kids. Guess we were spoiled...yep, that's it.
But I loved The Pushcart War and so did my boys.
Oh, slice of childhood, you find a glimpse of the harsh modern lights that are the internet!
