I have never found myself wishing that Canada (specifically the fine and exceedingly real-estate encumbered province of ONTARIO) were annexed by the United States of America more than when I deduced that THE AMERICAN ROAD is not inclusive of the CANADIAN ROAD portions of AMERICA.
Until such time as my sovereign nation is so occupied by our star spangled brethren to the south, I shall hope that your maps might accidentally direct you to TORONTO, or perhaps at the very least, OTTAWA.
WERE YOU AWARE? Canada's parliament buildings burned down in 1916. It was never officially ascribed to a Hobo bean-cooking fire but surely you can read between the proverbial lines.
