I'm curious as to the oiled ham. What type of oil would one use on a ham? DW-30, Canola, Olive? Makes one wonder.
Oiled ham in a conundrum. Do you think it was really soiled ham? Roiled ham?
Maybe Michael Sharick (blogless) could share with us where he took the photo?
The oiled ham place by me closed down and I'm looking for a new one.
Here I was, all ready to say something witty about oiled ham and I was beaten to it. So I will simply say...oiled ham.

I cannot believe you all missed it.
Clearly what they are implying is that you must be a well oiled ham to gain employment at the Hobo Deli.
Ah, it all makes sense now.
"Oiled Ham" is a hobo sign, you naifs. It lets hobos know that the cured processed slices of pig thigh are available there, like the signs for "nice lady" and "unattended dumpster ahead."
You would so starve on the road.
